An unprecedented 360 acres of Water Oak will be left undeveloped. The Water Oak community includes varying levels of open space, allowing you to decide how deep into nature you want to immerse yourself. Whether relaxing under a tree on the manicured lawn of one of our neighborhood parks, meandering through the woods on a trail or discovering the beauty of over one mile of river frontage, you will find yourself surrounded by the best Mother Nature has to offer.

A vast and wild place.

A portion of the San Gabriel River corridor runs through the Water Oak site and will be dedicated to the city for use in a regional parkway system. This regional parkway will be maintained by the city, and open to all who wish to experience the natural beauty and wildlife in the area. For residents of Water Oak, this system not only provides access to the river, but will also provide access to adjacent regional parks. These parks include Shadow Canyon Preserve and Linear Park to the east and Garey Park to the west. Featured amenities for the river corridor and adjacent parkland include pedestrian trails, equestrian trails, nature overlooks and interpretive areas.
